NOTA BENE:

Rather than stating my interpretation of the various doctrines, dogmas, and teachings of the Catholic Faith, I turn and appeal to the competent authority to make the pronouncements. The competent authorities I mention are the Gospels, the Epistles, the Church Fathers, the Theologians, the Popes speaking ex cathedra, the Holy Magisterium, the Doctors of the Church, and 1913 Catholic Encyclopedia:  Verbatim.

In other non-infallible matters, though authoritatively spoken and written, it is well to note and take into consideration the Canon of St. Vincent of Lerins for proof of catholicity, to distinguish between true and false traditions.

Therefore, for the proper reading and understanding of the Catholic Faith, Ethos, and the true Christian Way of Life, it is prudent to read first the Commonitorium of St. Vincent of Lerins.

Quod ubique, quod semper, quod ab omnibus creditum est -- "What has been believed, everywhere, always, and by all": The threefold test of Catholicity (universality); the triple test of oecumenicity, antiquity, and consent, differentiates between true and false traditions.
